Doomsday @ 10 Centidos festival, SPAIN

Doomsday is another creative performance created by Sung Im Her and Martha Passapokoulou, a rapidly melting glacier in West Antarctica—operates both as a metaphor and as a call to action. It serves not only as a warning of what is unfolding, but also as a space to reflect on what has already been lost. The performance proposes a physical ritual grounded in grieving and protesting, offering a simple yet potent gesture of response and hope in the face of what is yet to come.

The Garden of Earthly Disquiet by Grace Tjang / Needcompany

For The Garden of Earthly Disquiet, Grace combines Wayang Gedhog and Wayang Wong. As the Dhalang, or puppeteer, she creates the images and tells the stories. Instead of shadows, she plays with light to bring her world to life. Drawing from memories of terrifying, traumatic nights, the nocturnal escape from Indonesia to the Netherlands, and the inherited superstitions tied to nature, she imagines an obscure world brimming with mystery, unrest and fear, honours her ancestors, and interweaves past and present in a ritual, healing manner. For her most recent works, Grace chose to decolonise her name, adopting the name of her grandmother, Tjang, in honour of her grandmother and her family history.

The Story of us but all at once / LCDS yr 3 repertoire

Special dance performance for students who are about to jump into the WORLD

“Stories of us but all at once”

Resilience amongst the forgotten petals and dried up memories our feet drum on

The timeless rush you feel before you fall,

Spirals, waves, chests open and close

Through seasons flowers pain and bloom

A process of regeneration,

Reminiscing dissipation,

Anticipated renewal

The beginning of an end, the end of a beginning

A celebration of now, a celebration of us being here, right now.

The Years theatre / The Flea

July 1889, London. Charlie Swinscow is arrested for theft. He had more cash on his person than a poor lad like him is expected to have.

(But he didn’t steal. He just let a
lord have a go between his legs.)

A retelling of the Cleveland Street Scandal that shook England—from the streets of Bermondsey to the halls of Buckingham Palace—featuring a flea, a horse, a detective, a queen, a pimp, a god, and Charlie, the telegraph boy who knelt before the Crown.
